This workshop will be follow by a "Wine and Cheese" where francophone community leaders, public schools principals and EFNY members will be present.

Showcase of French and dual-language (French-English) programs opening in New York City's public schools

WHEN: Wednesday, June 13th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

PURPOSE:

  1. to inform school principals, administrators, community leaders and parents, of the various French and Dual-Language initiatives undertaken in the public school system.
  2. to invite prospective teachers and school leaders interested in dual-language programs.
  3. to invite students in Masters and Doctoral programs to learn more about this new field (internship opportunities, research).
  4. to explore new avenues of collaboration between NYC's public schools and the French Embassy, the French Institute Alliance Francaise and the French-speaking community at large.
