Kids Learning French in New York

“Speak in French when you can’t think of the English for a thing…”

― Lewis Carroll, Through the Looking Glass

The creator of Alice in Wonderland hands us the key to new worlds: speaking French!
Learning French is not only an academic asset but also a passport to the world, where 220 million French speakers live across 50 nations.

Welcome to EFNY!

EFNY – Education en Français à New York / French Education in New York is a non-profit organization created by parents and run by volunteers to promote the French language in New York City public schools, from Kindergarten through 11th grade.

EFNY provides specialized support for the study of the French language and Francophone culture with two initiatives:
The Dual-Language Program: in-school academic programs within various NYC schools
The Afterschool Program: extracurricular classes for all levels of French study at sites throughout NYC
